Chapter 2. Use of Paid Services

Article 4 (Types and Fees of Paid Services)

  1. Details of Paid Services provided by the Company, including service types, fees, and usage limits, are posted on the pricing page within the Service.
  2. The Company may change the types, fees, and usage conditions of Paid Services for business needs. In such case, the Company will notify Members by email or notice within the Service at least 30 days before the effective date, specifying the effective date and reason for the change.
  3. If a change is unfavorable to Members, such as a fee increase, the changed terms will apply from the billing cycle newly paid after the change. Members who do not agree to the change may cancel their Subscription.

Article 5 (Payment Methods)

Members may pay fees for Paid Services using one of the payment methods designated by the Company.

  • Credit card or debit card
  • Bank transfer
  • Virtual account
  • Other electronic payment methods added by the Company

Payments are processed through the payment gateway provider Toss Payments Co., Ltd., and detailed processing methods for each payment method are governed by the payment gateway provider's policies.

Article 6 (Recurring Payment and Automatic Renewal)

  1. If a Member applies for a Paid Service using Recurring Payment, the Subscription will automatically renew at the same billing cycle unless the Member cancels it.
  2. The Company will notify the Member by email at least 7 days before the recurring payment date of the following matters.
    • Next scheduled payment date
    • Scheduled payment amount
    • Payment method
    • Instructions for cancellation
  3. If payment fails on the recurring payment date due to reasons such as exceeding the payment method limit, insufficient balance, or card expiration, the Company may notify the Member and attempt payment again for a certain period. If payment is not completed within that period, use of the Paid Service will be automatically suspended.

Article 7 (Free Trial)

  1. The Company may provide a Free Trial to new Members or to eligible Members designated by the Company.
  2. If a Member registers a payment method when applying for a Free Trial, the Company will notify the Member by email at least 7 days before the end of the Free Trial of the following matters.
    • Scheduled end date of the Free Trial
    • First scheduled payment date and scheduled payment amount after conversion to a paid plan
    • How to cancel if the Member does not wish to convert to a paid plan
  3. If the Member does not express an intention to cancel before the end of the Free Trial, the Free Trial will automatically convert to a paid Subscription on the Free Trial end date, and payment will be made using the registered payment method.
  4. In principle, a Free Trial is provided only once per Member. The Company may refuse or withdraw a Free Trial if fraudulent use is suspected.

Article 8 (Receipts and Tax Invoices)

  1. Upon completion of payment, the Company will send payment details to the email address registered by the Member.
  2. Business Members may request issuance of a tax invoice through the receipt/tax invoice issuance menu within the Service. The request may be submitted by the 10th day of the month following the month in which the payment date falls.

Chapter 3. Withdrawal of Subscription and Refunds

Article 9 (Withdrawal of Subscription)

  1. If a Member enters into a contract for use of a Paid Service with the Company, the Member may withdraw the subscription within 7 days from the payment date in accordance with Article 17 of the Act on the Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce.

  2. However, a Member may not withdraw the subscription in any of the following cases.

    • The Service has been lost or damaged due to a reason attributable to the Member.
    • The Member has already used the Paid Service, including any partial use such as running an analysis, generating content, or automatically posting to SNS.
    • The value of the Service has significantly decreased over time to the extent that resale is difficult.
    • The Service is content under Article 2(1)5 of the Content Industry Promotion Act and provision of the content has begun.
  3. Notwithstanding Paragraph 2, if the Company has not clearly indicated in an easily noticeable place that withdrawal of subscription is unavailable for a Paid Service, or has not provided measures such as trial-use products, the Member's withdrawal of subscription will not be restricted.

  4. If a Member withdraws the subscription, the Company will refund the payment amount within 3 business days from the date the Company receives notice of withdrawal. Refunds will be made through the same payment method used for payment, provided that if a refund through the same method is not possible due to the nature of the payment method, the Company may refund by another method.

Article 10 (Subscription Cancellation and Refund Standards)

  1. Monthly Subscription

    • Members may cancel their Subscription at any time before the next payment date, and upon cancellation may continue to use the Service until the end of the current billing cycle.
    • Monthly Subscriptions do not provide partial refunds on a pro rata basis. However, this does not apply if the requirements for withdrawal of subscription under Article 9 are satisfied.
  2. Annual Subscription

    • Members may cancel an Annual Subscription at any time, and the refund amount will be calculated according to the following standard.
    • Refund amount = Payment amount - (monthly list price x number of months used) - amount equivalent to discounts already granted
      • The number of months used is calculated from the payment date to the cancellation request date, and any period shorter than 1 month is counted as 1 month.
      • The monthly list price is based on the regular monthly subscription price for the same plan.
      • If the calculated result is 0 or less, no refund will be provided.
    • If the requirements for withdrawal of subscription under Article 9 are satisfied, namely within 7 days from the payment date and no use, the full payment amount will be refunded.
  3. Refund Restrictions for Partial Use

    • If a Member has used any part of the Paid Service, such as running an analysis, generating one or more pieces of content, or posting to SNS, withdrawal of subscription for the relevant billing cycle may be restricted.

Article 11 (Refunds Due to Reasons Attributable to the Company)

  1. If a Member cannot normally use the Paid Service for any of the following reasons, the Member may request a refund from the Company.

    • The Service is suspended for 24 consecutive hours or more due to reasons attributable to the Company.
    • Payment was completed normally, but the Service was not provided due to reasons attributable to the Company.
    • The Company abolishes or suspends the Service.
  2. In the case of Paragraph 1, the Company will refund the amount corresponding to the period during which the Member could not use the Service, and may provide additional compensation in accordance with applicable rules such as the Guidelines for Protection of Content Users.

  3. If the Company abolishes or suspends the Service without prior notice, the Company will refund the amount corresponding to the remaining paid usage period and provide separate compensation standards.

Article 12 (Refund Processing Period and Method)

  1. After confirming the reason for refund, the Company will process the refund within 3 business days. Additional time may be required for actual completion of the refund depending on the payment method as follows.

    • Credit card/debit card: 3 to 5 business days depending on the card issuer's policy
    • Bank transfer/virtual account: 1 to 3 business days
  2. If refund processing is delayed due to a reason attributable to the Member, such as failure to provide payment method information, the Member is responsible for the period of delay.

  3. The Company may deduct payment gateway fees incurred in connection with a refund through the payment gateway provider from the refund amount, and will notify the Member in advance if such deduction is made.

Article 13 (Refunds upon Restriction of Use or Termination of Service Agreement)

  1. If the Company terminates the service agreement because a Member violates these Terms or the Basic Terms, the Company may refuse to refund the remaining usage period.
  2. However, if the Member's violation is minor or the Company determines under its policy that a refund is appropriate, the Company may provide a partial refund.
