I thought coding was enough
Kroffle is a six-person software development company based in Seoul. We have delivered 50+ client projects and hold venture certification. Building systems clients asked for — that part was working fine.
There was just one problem. With contract work, revenue ends when the project ends. To win the next project, you need sales — and sales need marketing. For a developer-founder, marketing was far more annoying than coding.
The marketing tasks we hated doing manually
became the starting point for Alleo's automation experiment.
A gut feeling that the AI search era was opening
But the market was changing fast. ChatGPT, Perplexity (an AI-focused search service), and Naver AI search were changing how people find information. We were moving from typing keywords into Google and clicking blue links to asking AI and getting answers directly.
Think back ten years: a few blog posts could rank at the top of Naver (Korea's dominant search portal). Early movers enjoyed that advantage for years. The shift to AI search feels like that same moment again.
SEO is already crowded, but AEO (AI search optimization) and GEO (generative AI optimization) are still early. We were convinced that getting in first would pay off — that conviction was Alleo's starting point.
We tested it ourselves: the alleo.wiki 122-entry experiment
We could not ship on conviction alone. We ran the experiment first. We built alleo.wiki, a Korean-language AEO wiki, and organized AI search concepts into 122 entries — plus 44 core topic pages and 14 categories.
We did not stop there. Using GitHub Actions (a developer automation tool), we built a system that automatically tracks whether AI actually cites our content. We dogfooded the exact problem the product was meant to solve.
The results were interesting. Systematically organized content was genuinely referenced by AI. We confirmed with data that structured information, clear answer formats, and content grounded in real experience are what AI reads best.
Laziness built the automation
After seeing the results, the next question was obvious: "Do we have to do this by hand every time?"
Honestly, we do not like doing the same work twice. Analyzing a homepage, creating AI-readable content, and publishing across channels is fun once — tedious by the tenth time.
So we started automating. First: enter a homepage and get a full AI search visibility diagnosis. One report covering SEO, GEO, and AEO, plus competitor comparison.
Then we added blog generation, interview-based content, and automated social posting. A tool that helps small business owners get their brand discovered in AI search without hiring a marketing team. That became Alleo.
Where we are now
Alleo currently offers all features for free. We are pre-launch and recruiting early-bird users.

- SEO/GEO/AEO-ready blog
Auto-generated in a structure AI can read easily
- Interview-based content generation
Turn the owner's real experience into publishable content
- Automated social posting
Publish created content across multiple channels automatically
Not waiting until it is perfect — building it together
It is not finished yet. We are building in public — sharing the process openly, refining features from user feedback, and publishing experiment results honestly. Not launching after perfection, but building together.
A lazy developer's annoyance got us this far. We hope Alleo becomes a tool that lightens marketing load for small business owners. You can try it free now — start by seeing how AI views your homepage.
